project brief: show “discovery and emergence” through motion/sound

Ferris wheels, rollerskating, seagulls, the beach, and sunsets.
These are some of the qualities about Santa Monica that make it unique and at the same time very unforgettable. In order to represent the words “discovery and emergence” I filmed my day at Santa Monica. The memorable qualities listed above were abstracted within the video in order to make the viewer “discover” where the place filmed may be.
In order to investigate the word “emerge”, I experimented with placing various music and sound to allow different emotions to emerge.
